Wynn Garners Third National Human Resource Innovation Competition Award for Talent Development

Macao, – Wynn is pleased to have garnered the “2023 Integrated Resort Talent Development Best Standard Award” at the Third National Human Resource Innovation Competition award ceremony recently held in Guangzhou.

This award recognition from the National Human Resource Innovation Competition marks the second consecutive year for Wynn to earn such a prestigious honor, a testament to Wynn’s continued dedication toward promoting innovation for the service industry and cultivating talent for the future growth of the Greater Bay Area.

Recognized as the most authoritative and renowned Human Resources competition in China, the Third National Human Resource Innovation Competition is organized by the CCOIC Human Resource Management Commission and co-hosted by business associations and chambers of commerce in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

Since commencing in October 2023, the Third National Human Resources Innovation Competition successfully attracted 457 participants and ultimately 166 participants were selected for final review by an experienced panel of judges.

Following a strict evaluation of each application, awards were presented to 72 companies, 13 individuals, and 7 industrial parks who demonstrated their outstanding commitment toward innovation in the service industry for the Greater Bay Area and the entire nation.

At this year’s competition, Wynn was awarded the “2023 Integrated Resort Talent Development Best Standard Award” recognizing the success of the Wynn “Management Skills Program” (MSP) in providing comprehensive and thoughtful succession planning to retain leadership talent.

Driven by the concept of nurturing growth and advancement, Wynn designed a two-year leadership development program for middle management team members. Under the guidance of Wynn Learning & Advancement Department, students participate in a number of intriguing and inspiring training courses, workshops, and mentoring through a game-based learning experience to improve their own skills, while also opening the door for promotion opportunities in future.

Wynn’s MSP program is an extension of the “Management Development Program” (MDP) which blends online and classroom learning, executive sharing, and project work to develop senior team members with the aim of unleashing their full potential. In recognition of the successful efforts of MDP, Wynn joined the ranks of the Top 10 Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) companies in 2023, surpassing some of the world’s top global companies to garner this award.

As a leading international hospitality company based in Macao, Wynn continues to set the industry benchmark for talent cultivation and advancement with its global resources, highquality service standards and service industry experience. By launching a variety of thoughtfully crafted training programs, Wynn aims to advance the vertical and horizontal career development of team members, cultivate more industry professionals, help strengthen Macao’s positioning as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure, and continue bridging more talent exchanges throughout the Greater Bay Area to advance Macao’s integration into the nation’s long-term development strategy.
