Kuala Lumpur – Batik Air is thrilled to announce the addition of Guilin, China, as its seventh route, commencing June 2, 2024.
Passengers can now explore the breathtaking beauty of Guilin with ease, as Batik Air offers three weekly B737-800 flights operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from KL International Airport (KLIA) and returning from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL) on the same days.
With the addition of this route, Batik Air now offers direct point-to-point flights from Kuala Lumpur to seven (7) key gateways in China, providing passengers with more options for travel to all the exciting destinations in China.
The airline already operates a total of 23 weekly frequencies from KLIA to Chengdu, Guangzhou, Haikou, Kunming, Zhangjiajie and Zhengzhou.

“This is in line with Tourism Malaysia’s 2024 target of attracting between five to seven million Chinese tourists. Batik Air plans to further increase flight frequencies and explore new destinations in China in the upcoming future,” he said.
Nestled along the banks of the Li River, Guilin is renowned for its picturesque iconic limestone mountains, crystal-clear rivers and lakes, making it a photographer’s paradise and a haven for nature enthusiasts.
