The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Football Australia today (Sept 28) announced the renewal of their broadcast partnership, which grants Football Australia the rights to the AFC’s national team competitions from 2025 to 2028.
The partnership covers all major national team competitions within the contract period, including but not limited to the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™, the AFC Asian Qualifiers™, the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ 2026 and 2028, and the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™.
The AFC and Football Australia first announced their partnership in 2021, covering national team competitions in the 2021-2024 cycle. Through the partnership, fans in Australia enjoyed extensive coverage of AFC’s thrilling national team competitions via a variety of channels provided by Football Australia’s broadcast partner, Paramount Australia, including Network 10 and 10 Play, as well as Paramount+. This renewal ensures that fans in Australia will continue to enjoy uninterrupted top-notch Asian football action through Paramount Australia’s extensive coverage.
