Premier Integrated Rehab (PIR), previously known as Pantai Integrated Rehab, has unveiled a new brand identity to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

The rebranding was announced during the “PIR Unveiled – The Next Chapter” event at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Deputy Director-General of Health (Medical) Dato’ Indera Dr. Nor Azimi Yunus officiated the event, recognising PIR’s contributions to Malaysia’s healthcare system.

“Over the past 25 years, Premier Integrated Rehab has consistently provided high-quality rehabilitation services, helping many patients achieve better health outcomes,” she said.

Established in 2000, PIR operates more than 20 centres nationwide, offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

The services are delivered by registered Allied Health Professionals under the rigorous clinical governance of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, its parent organisation.

Head of Ambulatory, Allied Health & Ancillary Services at IHH Healthcare Malaysia, Hareeff Muhammed, said the rebranding reflects PIR’s commitment to evolving with the healthcare landscape.

“This new identity represents our journey of growth and our dedication to improving rehabilitation care in Malaysia,”

Hareeff also highlighted PIR’s innovative initiatives, including TheraGo, a mobile rehabilitation service designed to bring therapy directly to workplaces.

The service offers on-site physiotherapy, ergonomic assessments, and preventive care for employees.

“TheraGo demonstrates our commitment to integrating rehabilitation into everyday life, making care more convenient and effective,” he added.

PIR is expanding its reach through partnerships with local organisations, universities, and policymakers to provide better access to rehabilitation services, especially in underserved areas.

These efforts align with national healthcare goals for decentralised and preventive care.

After a long hiatus from performing in Malaysia, celebrated Indonesian singer and composer Melly Goeslaw made a spectacular return last night with her much-anticipated concert, “Ada Apa Dengan Melly…? Prom Nite”, held at Axiata Arena.

Legendary Malaysian rock band Spider is set to return to the stage with a special unplugged concert on October 25 at the Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.

Titled Spider Unplugged Concert, the show promises a fresh and intimate musical experience for fans, showcasing the band’s iconic rock and ska-infused sound in a raw, acoustic format.
